On Sunday, July 1st, Bracebridge will host a variety of activities in two locations that will culminate with an awesome laser and fireworks show in the bay.

Walker’s Point Marina
For those on Lake Muskoka, this annual event is on Saturday, June 30th and features a BBQ, Carnival Games, Muskoka 411, Muskoka Brewery, FTL Water Sports Ski Show @ 8:30 PM followed by FIREWORKS AT DUSK! This year Walker’s Point Marina says the fireworks show will be even bigger and better so you don’t want to miss out. Some may say the best fireworks in ALL OF MUSKOKA!!
Celebrate Canada’s 151st Birthday on Sunday, July 1st, in Gravenhurst with free activities for the whole family at Gull Lake Rotary Park. There is a bbq, birthday cake, a magic show, Gravenhurst Fire Department presents a Junior Firefighters Challenge and three live bands throughout the day.
The following take place on Sunday, July 1st in the Huntsville area:
- 10am Port Sydney festivities at the Port Sydney beach on Mary Lake from 10am-3pm. BBQ, music, sand castle building, craft, games and more
- 11am Local music on Town Hall steps in Huntsville from 11am-4pm
- 12pm Legion BBQ at 21 Veteran’s Way. Hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill. Legion open from 12-6pm
- 10pm Fireworks over Hunters Bay (tune into MooseFM 105.5 for synchronized music)
